Yu Shimazu graduated from the Faculty of Intercultural Studies at Kobe University. She began her career at a PR agency specializing in the food and health sectors, where she was responsible for the entire PR process—from developing high-level strategies to execution and daily operations.

After that, she joined an IT venture company, where she led the planning and implementation of PR strategies. Leveraging her hands-on experience in public relations within the startup ecosystem, she joined 15th Rock.
